Breaking up our 200 mile ride and once at the visitor center we will park the bikes and take the Zion Park Shuttle. In 1997 visitation was 2.4 million and increasing. A shuttle system was established to eliminate traffic and parking problems, protect vegetation, and restore tranquility to Zion Canyon. The Zion Canyon Shuttle loop stops at eight locations in the park. The transfer between loops is made at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. You may get on and off as often as you like. Riding the shuttle is free. Our plan is to spend up to 3 hours visiting the Park.
Once back to the Visitor Center we head to Springdale for lunch and then west along the Virgin River on our way back to the Las Vegas area.
The ride through the Desert is beautiful. When we arrive in Las Vegas we check in the motorcycles and head to the dock for our celebration dinner on the boat and share stories and lies about our adventure.
